Resident 2014 - 2016

2/10/2016

I have been a tennant since 2014. It was decent at first, my rent was the same every month, and I had very little to complain about. However, things went bad in a hurry. First, in the back where I stay, there are huge pot holes everywhere. The trains behind the complex are extremely loud throughout the evening. Secondly, the first year my rent was $690 per month. Upon renewing my lease, I was told I would be responsible for water, sewage, and trash. I am a single person living alone so I didn't think much of it, however my rent rose to $800 per month. $110 per month for water/trash/sewage?? The management has decided total everyone's water usage in the entire unit then divide it evenly each apartment in the unit, instead of giving each tenant their own water bill based off what that person's household uses. Febuary 10,2016 someone stole the rims and tires right off my car partly because they refuse to fix the security gate at the front entrance. Because of this broken gate, any and everyone has unlimited access in and out of the complex. In conclusion, if you want to feel safe, and that your valuables protected, look elsewhere to stay. Please see the pictures I attached to this review.
