The Cottages at Lake Tamaha
The Experience & Performance Intelligence Quotient ("epIQ") Index measures:
over the most recent 365 day period. The index is presented as a familiar letter grade format to help renters evaluate all aspects of life at a community.
SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

We apologize that you have not had a good experience at The Cottages lately. When someone leaves a review for any reason, we encourage them to be honest. We appreciate your honesty. In regards to your transfer, we have to treat it the same as we would for anyone else because it is a change in your lease. For the trash fine, we have a sign posted next to both compactors which state the rules and conditions for a fine. If you were not the one to do it, and someone else owns up to it, the office can help you out. The Crimson Ride shuttle is associated with the university; if it is running late, it is not affiliated with The Cottages. Again, we apologize for your recent experience, and we hope you have a better one while you are here.
Thank you for your thorough review. Unfortunately, the Internet connectivity issue was property-wide, and staff members experienced it in the office, as well. It was an issue our vendor was experiencing off-site, and it affected more than our property. This was weather-related, and we had no control over these problems. In regards to the trash fine, you can find the fee listed under Exhibit E of your lease, which states you will receive a minimum of a $50 fine. Instead, we charge $25.We appreciate your honesty.
