I am a very displeased residence at The Abbey at Vestavia Falls. It has been nothing but chaos and horrible management from when I moved in last year. I recently received packages from Jan 2014 that the lease office kept and finalky discovered with the change in management. My maintenance requests are still pending from months ago. The staff has been very unprofessional with the "stories" they told me as to why something wasn't fixed or handled. My stove was a fire hazard and took almost a year for th to replace. My fridge damaged my groceries several times and it took me complaining to corporate to get reimbursed for my losses. The community itself is up kept. Maintenance is overworked with a staff of 1 or 2 men who in no way are able to get to our requests in a timely manner. Management needs to take some courses on how to diligently handle residents concerns and how not to deceive us and blame it on others within your staff.

I most certainly apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced. We do accept packages for our residents for your convenience in hopes to make your life a little easier by not having to pick the packages up from the carrier's main office, however it's up the carrier service to notify the resident of the delivery. After talking to a few of our resident's we've discovered that they're not always getting the notices of delivery from the carrier service so we wanted to send out a notice to anyone who had a package in the office to give you a chance to pick up your item(s). We have had a change in maintenance which put us a little behind in work orders. Our goal is to always get work orders completed within a day or two of receiving them because we understand how important it is to you to do so.
