I lived in the Magnolia Townhomes, under Pierce Properties for the last year. They are VASTLY OVERPRICED, the manager is HORRIBLE. Very rude, unprofessional, and just flat out hateful. The townhome itself was in good condition, until the first time it rained. After it rained, the downstairs flooded and the carpet molded. After having to call and beg them to come fix the mold, they brought a shop vac and febreeze. They promised to replace the carpet that molded, and nevertheless, never did, subjecting us to unhealthy and unsafe living conditions with the mold in the carpet under the front door. Upon moving out they kept my entire $400 deposit, $200 for a mandatory cleaning fee (which I would find acceptable) and then the rest for alleged damages that were definitley falsifed. On top of that, they charged an additional $1,321 on top of the deposit for the alledged damages. A $150 charge to remove two bags of trash that were bagged and sitting by the front door!!! And without even notifiying us of these charges they turned us straight into collections. We are now getting a lawyer and having to take these people to court. Very sad after spending over $12,000 in rent at a property, you would think they would want to make relationships with lasting customers. I am now at Sweetser Properties and they are much more reasonably priced, very friendly, and very helpful about Everything. If you have a choice DO NOT CHOOSE PIERCE PROPERTIES. The time constraint, pain & suffering....Its just not worth it. Much better options for NWA living. F- Rating for Pierce!!!!
