Links at Springdale
Resident · 2011 - 2012
I've rented from four other properties in Springdale, and viewed about 90% of the remaining complexes during my exhaustive searching (I am somewhat particular). I lived at the Links for two years and loved it. I moved because I couldn't afford it anymore. It truly is the nicest place in Springdale to rent. First, because of the large maintenance team who are constantly swarming around the complex on golf carts fixing and maintaining the property/landscaping. Second, the ten foot ceilings and crown moldings are rare elsewhere. Third, the amenities are unmatched, this includes the on-site 9 hole golf course, the rarely crowded pool/Jacuzzi, the tanning beds, the sauna, the pool and ping pong tables, and finally the clubhouse fitness center which is truly equal to a gym membership. It has everything you need (unless you only use free weights), 5 or 6 treadmills, roughly 20 different machines, even an elevator leading upstairs to it all, and a private entrance for residents who have an electronic key-card. Also, it is the ONLY complex in Springdale where one will see his or her neighbors driving Porsche's (one is the exact model that Jerry Seinfeld drives), Land Rovers, and Mercedes Benz vehicles on a daily basis. It's a higher class of apartment living. Now the cons: I believe the on-site General Managers are not as professional as I would expect. They never smiled at me, or act pleased to see anyone come into the office. I got the impression that I was a bother to them. The office staff associates will smile though and are quite friendly, but they are not the ones you have to deal with concerning important matters, if one arises. However he was quick to flirt and laugh with the attractive girls living above me... pathetic. Additionally, the fixtures and materials were nothing special. I hated the counter tops, so cheap. To end on a positive note, I did like the use of real tile throughout the kitchen and bathroom.
