Resident 2007 - 2009

12/12/2009

I lived here for over 2 years. Didn't want to move my kids from place to place so I stuck it out. The pool had major problems, don't trust to swim in it with all the "shocking" they had to do to kill the bacteria and turn it clear again. I was told the hot tub is Still out of commission from the summer. The lighting on the property has been iffy and unsafe and at least once a month your water gets turned off without a ligit 24-48 hour notice. (The office girls walk around the early morning of the water turning off to post the 24-48 hour notice). The front office staff are not pleasant. I feel like I'm talking with folks who think they are some sort of "higher social class" snoots. We live in Casa Grande, come on. You work for an apartment complex, Seriously loose the "better then you" attitudes. It's been years since the basket hoops were both up, thankfully they finally did it. You can't have any outside furniture in front of your apartment, a few residents are known for their "Brothel" apartments, and the Crime and Drug rate are HIGH. I know apartments will experience these sorts of issues, but recently a man was shot and killed here because of it. This hasn't been the first time this has happened, and with the front office allowing Drug and Crime offenders to live here, I expect the same issues to continue. This apartment complex has been through 3 different management companies since I've lived here, and for good reason. It is unsafe, habituated with drug users and sellers. I guess if there is one good thing to say about it, it would be that it only costs $150.00 to transfer out. Oh Goodness. That's pretty pricing considering it the ------. I didn't leave on bad terms, but feared for my safety. Vehicles are broken into constantly, and the crime is getting worse. Think Twice about moving into this community. None of the office staff live on site so if you decide to ask for their advice on how it is out here, take it from me, it's not worth the higher APS bills due to poor instillation, getting sick form rusty water, or ruining your furniture and belongings from water heaters bursting. Oh not to mention if your handicap, you can't wheel around on the side walks. My son broke both his forearm bones tripping over unsafe and unleveled walk paths. They seems to think it's okay to put yellow stripes over dangerous, uneven surfaces without having to fix them. Oh, and one more thing, be careful when enjoying the yourselves outside your apartments during day or night. Large tree limbs and branches are falling unexpectedly on the ground. A bench was broken from one falling on it over the summer, and yes, the bench has yet to be repaired.
