Don't Judge a Book by the Cover
Most of the building seem to have some sort of Roach problem. The office staff will tell you point blank that there is no roach problem, but when you move in you will see them. They will have a bug man come out and spray but he only comes every two weeks. After the first month the roach problem in my unit stopped... but that just means they are now in some other vacant apartment until you move in. Additionally the hot water may be shut off without warning, worse still the plumbing is old on the property so the pipes need repairs often (at least once a month) and that means the water to your building maybe shut off without warning. When you submit a service request it takes days for a response. There was a leak in the unit above me... I called them on Friday, Saturday, Monday, and finally on Tuesday someone came to take a look at it. They stopped the leak and promised to repair my ceiling but have yet to do so. The office rarely answers the phone. The pool was shut down by the city during the summer of 2011- the pool was closed for about a month. There is plenty of parking, the landscaping is nice... but the sidewalks can get slippery where the water and sun has scorched the concrete and creates a fall risk.Share This Review
