The Experience & Performance Intelligence Quotient ("epIQ") Index measures:
over the most recent 365 day period. The index is presented as a familiar letter grade format to help renters evaluate all aspects of life at a community.
SatisFacts, a sister company to ApartmentRatings, offers surveys that measure renters satisfaction at key points throughout the renter lifecycle: Touring, Move-In, Maintenance, and Lease Renewal. The questions from each survey type that are based on a 1-5 point scale are then added into the calculation of the community's epIQ Grade.
Not all communities use surveys and therefore may not have any survey information on their report card. These communities will show an "N/A" for their survey sections.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review and share your concerns with our team. We understand how inconvenient and disappointing it was for you when your unit flooded, and we apologize for any difficulties that you experienced during this time. We truly tried our best to remediate the situation by accommodating you at one of our sister properties. When all of this happened, our team didn't know that you didn't like your time at our sister property, and given that you left some of your furniture inside one of the units over there, their team thought that you were staying there. We did not know that you had decided to stay elsewhere instead, and the team at our sister property also did not receive your keys. This is why they are charging you for the apartment for those days. When we last spoke, I also let you know that removing your belongings, turning in your keys, and turning in your renter's insurance would have allowed you to receive a reimbursement. I apologize if this was not made clear, but I hope that this provides you with some insight in regards to why you are experiencing certain billing issues. With that said, we want you to know that we understand that you went through some difficult times, and we also know that it can be disheartening when any major maintenance issues occur. We just want to clear the air with you and give you some peace of mind, so if you'd like further clarification, then please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
