I've lived here for a few months before the change in management, and these last few months after the changes. Our lease is up by May, so it's high time for a review. Now half of the neighborhood I wouldn't even consider living in. But the corner that I live in, I'm very satisfied with. The new paint, the changes in landscaping, the new signs and marketing, the website, and the increase in community involvement. The air quality is great if you open your windows in the afternoon, appliances are great, the space in our 2 bed/ 1 bath is perfect, and our balcony has a view of Stewart. I'm five minutes by car from Fiesta mall, Mesa Community College, and the highway. And I've never seen a single bug in our new apartment (but we clean often, fumigate regularly, and there are lots of lizards outside our apartment to eat them). Just make sure you get a newly renovated apartment; it's a world of a difference from their old ones. If I was rating that one, it'd surely be under 2 stars. Speaking for all apartments, I would love for better bath tubs, they're just painted over and not truly fixed. Now, I should say I feel a lot safer in the apartments closer to the front of the neighborhood (near the office and Stewart), so also avoid the back side. I cannot say enough good things about how this neighborhood is evolving! And we really struck gold with this particular apartment; I don't know if I could say the others are as nice. I regret not being able to renew the lease; I can't imagine myself living anywhere else for the price, honestly speaking! It's a beautiful and modest neighborhood if you find the right spot.
