DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS THEY CHANGE THE MANAGER, ASSISTANT MANAGER, ADDRESS THEIR PEST PROBLEM AND LOWER THEIR PRICES!!! I lived here for over a year and moved out around 4 months ago. To find out if employees have indeed left or been fired, just call the complex first and ask how long the manager and assistant manage have worked there for. An innocent question that the general public has the right to ask. I've read some of these posts and or responses to posts and I think that some people don't fully understand that it's not how you are treated when you don't have any problems for management to deal with but how you are treated during times of need that measure actual treatment. (I wasn't even going to write a review, but then they had to go and mess with my deposit money) I thought that I did my homework. I thought that it would be worth the money because the place looked well taken care of and in a very nice neighborhood. The office staff was warm, caring, and very peasant until after I moved in... First month's rent came due and all the HIDDEN COSTS came with it too! Instead of paying AROUND $700 MONTHLY I paid on AVERAGE $800 FOR A ONE BEDROOM! My upstairs neighbors sounded as if they were performing in the Olympics every morning, then in the evenings they would drag the awards podium from room to room! RENT KEEPS RISING AND RISING WITHOUT THE COMPETENCE TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY IT. Speaking with the assistant manager was an unfortunate necessary evil! SCORPIONS found their way INTO my apartment TWICE EVERY MONTH. Many other tenants had it Much worse in the front of the complex by the second pool. When I spoke with her about it after the first few times she had maintenance come and place white powder at my doors but they still found other ways in every month! I presented a vet bill stating that my small animal was stung; I stated that I could not afford another incident and prompted for further action to be taken in regards to the scorpions, she CONDESCENDINGLY informed me that I live in Arizona, that they were doing all that was even possible, and that these things were just going to happen! Let me tell you guys, I have lived in Arizona for over 26years now and there is a HUGE difference between desert living and an INFESTATION! I had Piles Over Piles of white powder at my doors when my animal got STUNG!! SHE WAS NO HELP AT ALL!!! I couldn't wait to move out!! When I went in to get the form for the normal 30days written notice to move out she told me that the property management REQUIRES 60 DAYS NOTICE NOT 30. Then she stated in a threatening manner that the owners could sue me for breaking the lease if I needed to move out before giving 60 days written notice. I was very intimidated and speechless, I understand I signed this contract but it was my first apartment complex and I had no idea. You'd think if they WEREN'T TRYING to be TRICKY or doing SHIFTY things ON PURPOSE, they would at the very least send an automatic heads up e-mail at your 59days. Why not, they send an e-mail for every BBQ, Food Truck, and other activity they use your money to put on. How about sending an e-mail that will actually help people.?. So she suggested that I RESIGN ANOTHER LEASE AT A RAISED RATE or I could go month to month for a SERVICE CHARGE, AN ADDITIONAL $200, ADDED TO RAISED RENT EACH MONTH AND THAT I WOULD STILL NEED TO GIVE TWO MONTHS NOTICE!! Of course I didn't have any choices other than to pay them an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money or BE SUED, TARNISH MY RENTER'S HISTORY and end up giving them more money anyway. She will even get you after you move out... In the beginning she did the walk-through with me in the "upgraded" model. The place just looked rigged to pass with painted over dirt and stains all over the carpet. We wrote down all that was wrong on that USELESS paper that apparently doesn't mean anything to them. I paid well over $120 for professional cleaners to come and clean, as I do at the end of all my leases, but they ONLY RETURNED $200 of my $1,000 DEPOSIT! The place was in better condition than when I moved in!!!!! The Assistant Manager was rude, cold, and CALCULATED on how to squeeze the most money away from renters as possible. It seems as if she has been trained to do this or has had these same conversations with many other people and often! I'm Exhausted at this point, (as I'm sure they have predicted) I gave up. I don't know how I got stuck speaking to the same person over and over and over again but she spoke to me with such alarming arrogance it was truly traumatizing; $800 to not have that assistant manager speak AT ME again seems worth it. This has been such a horrible experience for me and it was completely unexpected. It is such a shame because I love the area, loved my apartment, the grounds were kept up very nicely, so pleasurable and clam outside where I lived. I never had to deal with the maintenance staff but they were always pleasant to me when I saw them.
