I've lived here a year now and am looking forward to moving soon. In all the decades I've rented apartments in the Phoenix area, I've never had such a negative experience as I have here. The manager is hostile and uncooperative. The staff never remembers my face or name and often act disinterested or 'too busy'. Arcadia Cove changed towing companies and didn't tell residents in advance. The maintenance crew, while polite, are often unable to fix things adequately. The walls are thin and it's easy to hear even quiet neighbors. Most of my neighbors are pretty decent, but some are low-lifes. Management claims to do background checks on tenants, but I doubt they do since a check with Phoenix police shows nearly half of all tenants here call the police each year. When I moved in a year ago I asked how often the gate code is changed and they said frequently. It hasn't been changed yet! The gates are often broken (remaining open) and a few times have failed to open! The grounds generally look nice but a closer inspection will reveal broken glass, dirty garbage containers that reek from afar, and dog waste in the landscaping rock. There is a severe lack of parking available for even one guest, let alone more than one. I would never recommend Arcadia Cove to anyone. This is the first time I've ever written a bad review on an apt., but I feel it's important to warn potential residents of this situation.
