Del Prado in the Arizona Biltmore Estates

Del Prado is too old for the money they charge for rent. I would look elsewhere - for the same price, you could get a newer apartment in the same area. Old building, decor, appliances AND the average age here is about 60 years old! You can hear the person above you flushing their toilet (all through the night..again 60 here); it sounds like a huge rush of water is about to over take the bedroom. The dishwasher and heater/ac unit are extremely loud. Signs of mice around..droppings, steel wool in holes to keep the mice out. Haven't seen any yet but there are signs. No guest parking close to the apartment unless you live in the front of the complex (this could be good or bad, depending). Exercise room is VERY small. Management...hard to tell at this point. The good stuff about Del Prado...offers one and half bath with a one bedroom apartment, large storage unit outside (b/c the water tank is the bedroom closet and the heater/ac unit is inside the apartment), small "den" off the living room (great for an office area), elevators, and great location to restaurants, shopping and bars. Overall - feels more like a retirement community around here and the price is too high for these outdated apartments. I'm disappointed. I'd recommend somewhere else.
