Fountains in the Green
Resident · 2018
We've lived here for 6 months now and for the most part, love it. This complex is very unique, all utilities are included (some units have a cap but our upstairs 2 bedroom 2 bath doesn't). It's very rare to find an all utilities included that has a washer and dryer in the unit, they are small but awesome. I'll break this down by the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Good: Staff for the most part are kind and super helpful. There is one girl in the office that is not nice, but the rest make up for her. Maintenance and Security rock. They come when you call and get things done quickly. Neighbors are mostly quiet and kind You really can't hear the other apartments just people outside. The price - cannot be beat The chiller unit - actually works really well The grounds are beautiful and 10 degrees cooler than the surrounding area. The Bad: Pot...It's in the lease that people cannot smoke on property and SO MANY people do. It smells. I have a baby and it irritates me that it's so strong. Leaves are EVERYWHERE. I sweep our patio daily due to it. Street parking is difficult. There's not a whole lot of restaurants or things to do in the area but, being a mom, it's nice that PCH is so close. The Ugly: Bugs...OMG. There are cockroaches, bees, mosquitos, etc. but living with so many plants I guess it's normal. Also, our dogs got fleas from the pet areas. They need to spray more often. Parking in our lot is so tight. Folks with trucks get hit sometimes due to cars not being able to get by. They also have trees planted in some of the spots adding an extra level of difficulty to an already tricky situation. To summarize, it's a pretty nice place to live with a few quirks and some stuff they need to work on. This complex and it's sister property are usually at 100% capacity for a reason.
