I was enjoying the heated pool this morning and stopped to listen--to silence. Except for the soft sound of the water trickling from the lovely bougainvillea-covered waterfall at the far end of the pool I could hear nothing at all. And it is a weekday/workday in the middle of a major American city with all the expected traffic noise--but not where I was--in the beautiful biggest-trees-in-Phoenix apartment complex, with its leafy, brick-lined walks and well-maintained grounds and pool. If you like peace and quiet in the middle of the city you will enjoy living at Fountains-in-the-Green, as I have--for the past 22 years. NP
