I have lived here 3 years and I like the location and basically like the apartment. This is the 3rd time they have changed managers since I have been here. The latest manager is why I am writing this review,
The previous manager would reward residents by having a contest for something free, like a dining room set, with chairs. The way to enter the contest was to place a good review here. She was a nice manager and did a nice job here. I never had any issues with her or with any maintenance requests when she was in charge. She kept up the grounds, and followed the rules of your lease to the letter.
The lease states rent is late after the 5th. That is common in Arizona. Any place I have lived here lets you drop your rent as late as the evening of the 5th and it is not late.
The NEW manager here I like to compare to the Gustapo or ------. She sends out notices that your rent is late before the 5th, and in Arizona those notices carry a $25 delivery fee.
Today she put out a newsletter stating late notices will be sent out on the 2nd of the month. It is amazing someone in a position like this cannot read or understand a legal document.
The lease states you must give a 30 day notice before moving, and if you are not in a lease you are technically obliged to that rule. Now in the newsletter she is saying you can only move out on the end of a month, having gave notice before the first of that month, with no current lease. The lease states 30 days notice. She must not realize the benefit of prorating rent when someone does give 30 days notice so they can prep the apartment for the upcoming month to be rented.
The grounds have not been maintained for months. The swimming pool has been closed for months and we get no credit for not having that amenity. She has already had 3 employees quit on her in as many months.
Leases state when rent is due, not this crazy lady. I know 4 people moving in the next couple months alone. Rules are rules and they are meant to be followed by both parties.
