Pros: The complex is close to just about everything. It's a safe $10 rideshare home when you're out with friends. Also, the maintenance people are great since we got new management. They are friendly, good at communicating when something will get done, and pretty fast. It is also close to work if you work in the city. This is the best complex withing like 3/4 of a mile. It's also super close to the 202, 51, and 10. It's a decent balance of cheap and safe if you need time and money to get on your feet. Office people are nice and respond quickly. Cons: It has been a hot minute since the apartments were renovated and it shows! The garbage is usually overflowing from the dumpsters (imagine smelling that daily). Also, the sidewalks and pavements look and smell like garbage juice. The non-paved area smells like dog pee from the people that have pets. In Arizona, we don't have rain to wash these things away and no one cleans them. There is a restaurant across the street that blasts music loud enough to hear the exact lyrics with doors and windows closed. There is no real security here, outsiders are in all the time, whether they're neighborhood kids in the pool or homeless people going through the trash. It's embarrassing and ironic to have luxury in the name. I'm not the luxury type and neither is this complex. Don't include the gym or pool as an amenity, when reviewing your budget, include an external gym cost. Everything is falling apart. The gates don't mean much, people get through them all the time. New management from Greystar seemed great at first, but as time goes by its hard to tell the difference between them and the people that ran this place into the ground, to begin with. They say they are going to take care of things, but they don't. This place has great potential, we just need the right people to come in to lead us there. I get that we live in a ------, but if I had known the reality of this place, I would have paid a couple hundred more to live somewhere else.
