Do not move here.
Some reviews are made by people that are upset and you can sense the emotional tone in their review. I on the other hand will just give you a list of things that have happened to us since we moved in, and hopefully spare you. If you are low on money, I recommend this place. But you get what you pay for.
-First off when moving in we had neighbors try to fight us because our moving truck was in the way of their spot (took 20 mins tops)
-The pools are both locked up, despite being promised that one is heated in the winter.
-The pools are surrounded by balconies, so you're probably being watched while you swim.
-Everyone has really bad roach problems, we got lucky and dont have any
-Look at the ceiling of your apartment before you move in. Ours has patches etc, and I cant help but wonder if a guy killed himself in here.
-The staff calls to tell you that they are in your apartment AFTER they are in there. Yes, you heard me. They let their landscaper take the key to your apartment, he has no uniform, and honestly looks like a thief, and he can walk into your apartment for any reason he likes. We were at a movie and I got a call "Hey we are in your apartment we think your toilet is leaking" now that is all fine and dandy, but imagine if I had come home before they had called. A landscaper, in dirty attire, no badge, no uniform in my house. I would have thought he was a burglar and promptly protected my home, and soon to be wife. Imagine the nightmare that would have caused for this man and myself as well.
-Our clothes were stolen from the washer
-Our mailbox will not close all the way
-A kid was murdered down the street
-Gangs like to hang out by a drainage grate in front of the apartments at night. Which we found surprising because these apartments look good! But there is a huge golf course and park across the street and they like to drink there.
-The carpet turns black. And isn't tacked down correctly so if you walk on it for a month or so it starts coming up.
-As for the noise, I cant complain about other tenants. Because I am by the street and the insulation is so horrible that it sounds like I am literally sitting on the sidewalk. We cant even call people in our bedroom, they cant hear us.
-The staff in the lobby are kind of strange. It is new people every time we go in there, and they have this weird way of getting defensive when you ask even a question that isn't at all an issue.
-Online rent payment will not, and has not worked.
-The office is only open 9-5 so if you work those hours you can not pay your rent. You have to actually hand them the check. The deposit box has been "out of order".
-Our kitchen counter is cracking and falling apart in a spot we never use.
-Our cabinets are falling off just from opening and closing it maybe once a day... They're made of very cheap plywood.
-The water will randomly turn off about once a week for unknown reasons. (We've only received one notice since we've moved in about the water turning off due to construction). The apartment complex includes the water bill in the rent payment every month, so it's not like we did not pay.
-Lots of construction by the apartments, sometimes until 1am and early as 5am.
-There is no built in lighting in the bedroom or a ceiling fan, so if you plan on moving in, make sure you have one or two lamps.
-The control unit for the Air Conditioning is very weird and hard to keep at a certain temperature.
-You'll often find homeless people digging through the dumpster.
-We've only seen the apartments "24 hour security" twice since we've moved here.
-The landscapers are very careless, they will use the leaf blower to blow leaves, rocks, and dust all over your car.
