I lived in a 3-bedroom apartment there my last year of college with several roommates, and we had a pretty good experience overall. You can't beat the price! It was much nicer, safer, and better-smelling than Willow Ridge, where I had lived before. Chris, the manager, is very friendly and remembered all of our names right off the bat. He always reminded me of what I needed to do at the right time without being annoying, which seems to me like what a manager should do! It did seem like we had to jump through a bunch of hoops to move in - all 6 of us had to fill out mountains of paperwork - but I understand, as it is a low-income complex. Sam, the maintenance guy, is nice and immediately addressed anything I told him about. Our dishwasher didn't work and was only useful for rinsing or drying, but we preferred to wash by hand anyway, so we never told him about it. And yes, college students are definitely allowed to live there. We never had problems with parking, which for having 6 cars (and sometimes more) is saying a lot! My main complaint is about the noise and thinness of the walls and ceilings/floors. Because of this, and the fact that the upstairs floor creaked like crazy, I always knew exactly where my neighbors were in their apartment and what they were doing at the time!! But still, we all liked living there and I do recommended it.
To all the conspiracy-theory people who like to get on this website and accuse apartment staff of posting fake positive reviews, just lay off it. Seriously, how often would that actually happen? Don't ruin things for the rest of us.
