The bottom line is that there's an expectation of quality when you live in an area that is considered more "upscale." But most of the properties around here don't live up to that. This property does.<br><br>Likes and Dislikes: I've lived in this area for many years, and I've lived in a several of the "higher end" apartment/condo communities. I can assure anyone that you will NOT find a property like Camden San Marcos (that is unless it was another Camden property). This company pumps a lot of money into their properties. I was in the position where I moved into San Marcos literally the same time Camden took over. And in the past several months, I've seen a night and day difference. Completely renovated units. And I don't mean new carpet and paint. I mean everything. Floors, granite countertops, fixtures, appliances, blinds, hardware, etc. etc. It's very clear that the decision makers actually took their time with the choices on this renovation. The entire external property has been repainted, parking lot resurfacing is about to be completed, new amenities have been added. Not to mention that the management staff here is the best I've ever dealt with. The bottom line is that there's an expectation of quality when you live in an area that is considered more "upscale."
