If all issues get resolved - maybe one day? - I will gladly change my review to reflect how they have chosen to correct their continued deficiencies. As it is, 1 star is the most appropriate review. To start, this place has so many problems to list that I highly recommend you find a better place to live. I don't have time to list everything but will mention some, for the sake of time. We moved here in August of 2019 and upon move-in we had to put in (12) work orders. The apartment was not even move-in ready! I have lived all over the east and west coast and this place takes the cake for the worst place I have occupied as an apartment renter the last 17 years - some were not even branded "luxury". We have now put in more than (20) work orders in less than 4 months where only some have been fixed. 1/4 of the original work orders did not even get fixed after submitting them - even though they said they were - and I am tired of my keys not working to get into my apartment, NEVER having a dishwasher to use since we moved in, uneven cooling and heating throughout the entire apartment and an endless supply of maintenance problems. It gets old asking for something to get fixed and it, repeatedly, is told it will but it never does. The place looks great - from the outside and the models we were showed were nice! - but what a disgrace for what we received. Management was even SUPER nice with the move--in process, until highly pressured to sign for the apartment BEFORE doing a thorough inspection - management refused to give gate keys to the complex until we did the apartment inspection; every place I have ever lived at gave us (30) days, this was odd but, in hindsight, it now "feels" like a hook'n'bait tactic. Upon further investigation, I do believe one of the main issues of this property is that the investors are the main focus - not the residents. If there was more time it would be ethically appropriate to hire a legal team for breach of contract and move-in/move-out costs but we only signed an 11-month lease. Looking forward to leaving already but I still prefer to hold out hope that things will change. So, lets talk about the good because there are good things! The outdoor pool is very nice, the community is small and their gym has just enough of the right things to help you get the basics in for cardio, strength training and flexibility. Even though the apartments are on the small side they would be reasonable if not for the endless supply of maintenance issues - they would need to knock, at least, $500 off a month to be in the ballpark of a place being "worth the money". It is difficult to leave such a poor review of a place I am currently living at as it might cause blowback - it is that bad and I'm just simply tired of the apartment problems! I moved from a community that I gave a (5) star review of in Tempe - Rio Paradiso - and wish we never left there. If you are in the area, rent at Rio Paradiso. It is cheaper, bigger, nicer, has AWESOME management, is actually in the category of "Luxury" and has an amazing maintenance crew for a large property annnnndd is a joy to live at! The Colonial Grand at Scottsdale is given 1 star since they proclaim they are "Luxury" when the reality is that they are not. They overcharge and under-deliver on the agreed contract. At this point in time, management and maintenance does not keep me in the loop of anything so this could be a localized issue or it is just the way their mid-level management does business. Time will tell :) I do look forward to enabling and empowering the right level of management to correct the issues but - at this point - it is time to give a current report card.

    Please, do NOT rent here. I wish I would have taken the advice of other commenters about the issues here. This place has too many issues to list that never get fixed. Very dissatisfied and tired of empty answers from management. Hands-down, worse community I have ever lived in - 15 years of renting throughout the east and west coast - and the cost to live here is extremely overpriced.
