The only positive about living at San Marin is the location. The management is the worse at customer service I have ever dealt with, TXXXi is the most unhappy and unaccomodating individual I have ever met. Working as a former lease agent I can tell you she and her team are examples of what not to be in guest service and hospitality. If I were the owners of this complex I would make a change, the fish stinks from the head down and she is a major contributor to the happiness of the residents. Management absoltely needs to address her and her approach to her job, it is almost like she looks to make others as miserable as she is.
Recent upgrades to applicances which is great, but mainenance response time is terriable and they usually require two or more visits to make the repairs correctly. One maintenance guy actually told me that management doesn't like to spend money to make repairs correctly the first time.
Noise is unbelievable and the pool in season is a frat party and usually results in the pool being closed for a day or two each week because of broken glass or worse. There is no monitoring of the behavior especially late evening and early morning of the pool. Not a place for children, this is a college frat reunion complex.
Ants and other bugs are a problem, there are gaps in the doorways and windows allowing enegy problems and insects to come in. The gates rarely work for the entire month and when they do cars line up outside waiting to follow in residents, parking is definately an issue. The tow service is like predators and will tow guests event if the guest tag is expired or misprinted. Do not let your guests park after 7 pm in this complex unless the guest parking is filled out 100% correctly.
T and the other managers are not pet lovers even though this is a pet community they repeatly hassle pet owners and have huge fines and fees.
When looking for apartments in Old Town look next door or down the street DO NOT Rent at San Marin until ownership makes improvements in apartments and management.
