These apts do not have fancy amenities, but if you're looking for quiet and kept, this is fine. My husband and I lived in these apts for 3 years, first in a 1 bedroom model and then a 2/2. The phase nearest Osborn is probably your best bet for quiet, as the tenants are mostly professionals, serious culinary students or retired, many of them will tell you they've been there for a long time. The back portion seems to be established, long-term tenants as well, however they are a bit on the more social side, and you will probably hear more of your neighbors in the back.
Problems were attended to quickly, however the laundry rooms often went neglected, allowing dryers to sit in disrepair for long periods of time.
Staff is nice, knowledgeable.
Do not leave valuables in your car; the neighborhood tends to occasionally attract break-ins. My home was never broken into and I always felt secure. The neighborhood is not as bad as some of the previous ratings would lead you to believe, however it is hardly what people imagine Scottsdale to be. It is more like east PHX - which there is nothing wrong with as long as you know what to expect. Professional, latin-influenced, yuppified & hipster student are all names that could be used to describe the area.
Overall, if your not looking for "Snottsdale" image and want a comfortable and quiet abode, this is it - no frills.
