I am an international student and lived in the CrossRoad Apts for 1.5 years. My experience with the managers, particularly the old guy and the old woman had been unpleasant one. When you move in they seem to be nice and show some smile to you, but once you signed the contract, they start show their real nature, they are very GREEDY and unfriendly, they will try everything to rip you off including refundable deposit, increase rental with strange reasons. I have been to most of the apartments around the campus and conditions of the CrossRoads are the worst among all, they are very old, no swimming pool, terrible noise insulation, old floor and cabinets, and it takes forever to cook something because the stoves are so small and not efficient, they rarely clean the neighbourhood, the laundry rooms is like a garbage storage - very dirty, but also more expensive than most of the apts around the area. So you should carefully check and look at other options before deciding moving into this terrible place.
