Resident 2012

6/13/2012

Ok I am going to be completely honest here! Let me 1st start off by saying that I do love living here, however, there are some areas in which I definitely have an opinion and it probably won't be opinions that the staff here will like so much. First I will start off with the good! Overall this place is beautiful. The landscaping gets an A and I have to say that as beautiful as it is, for as old as it is(25yrs old I believe) along with the peacefulness and it being quiet here 99% of the time, La Reserve Villas is a very enjoyable place to live. Neighbors are very respectable, decent people who you feel you can trust, are social-able, and just overall pleasant. The view here is marvelous and I thoroughly like the fact that La Reserve is not off the main street(Oracle), instead it is nicely hidden in it's quaint little spot away from traffic and pedestrians. La Reserve has free movie rentals with a free movie size candy, they accept large dogs which is AWESOME and they have 2 pools which although older are pretty well kept. Now, here come the constructive criticism. The office staff here are seemingly decent people but they come off as being very fake! Sorry girls. Try a little less harder and let your kindness and drive for great customer service come naturally! People can tell when your not truly interested in what they have to say or when your laugh is fake. Of the 3 girls in the office only 1 is competent. Now on to my last criticism. The maintenance guys are almost just as fake as the girls but what bothers me the most about the maintenance crew is that they seem to always wait till you have left your apartment to work on your maintenance issue and with no note left behind to tell you how or if the issue was fixed, your left wondering if they even came and what the heck happened while you where gone. Also I have to say that when we first moved in the apartment wasn't thoroughly clean and the patchwork on walls as well as plumbing fixtures were done in a shoty or "mickey mouse" manner. Now, does any of this make me hate the place or want to immediately move...No not at all. I still enjoy living here and I still would recommend La Reserve as a nice, affordable place to live. I am grateful to live here and after seeing some of the competing complexes in the area, La Reserve doesn't get an A from me but instead I would give an overall grade of a B-
