When you have great walking paths, the Bay, and the views right in your own backyard, any apartment building will share some of that brilliance. The Tradewinds, run by a couple from Romania, rates "Fairly good" in all areas but parking, which is sometimes difficult on this popular recreational street. Your first car will have an assigned spot, either in a carport or close to the building. Finding a spot on the street for a second sometimes requires patience. Often visitors will park in your spot while seeing friends, but toot on the horn usually brings them out to move their vehicle. The pool is so, so, and the manager doesn't always have the heater running during the months the pool is in operation, which is not year round. Nevertheless, the living rooms and kitchens are wonderfully spacious and the neighbors generally amiable. When there are little difficulties, a thirty second walk will put you on the Bay with all of its scenic wonder there to soothe any disturbed spirit.
