Choosing to move into the Alize Apartment Homes was mainly a matter of convenience for my family and me. However, after having lived in the complex for about 8 months, it's easy to rattle off a list of the virtues of living at Alize: quiet, safe and friendly community; maintenance staff that are helpful and very quick to respond to submitted issues; good value for the price of rent/deposit; simple, but clean and accessible amenities. Sometimes, the real test of service and concern comes in times of distress and difficulty, and in this time of a pandemic, I believe that the staff at Alize has really gone above and beyond expectations. Quick responses to maintenance calls (with appropriate safety precautionary measures), providing residents with food service options (occasionally at Alize's expense), and various options for residents to manage through the tough economic environment of the pandemic. Above all, the staff at Alize excels at communication - keeping residents up-to-date on any events or maintenance going on throughout the community, and always responding to any inquiries or issues we've had in a timely manner. The community here is generally very friendly and open - we've met and made friends with a handful of fellow residents and have met many more friendly and welcoming individuals and families throughout our months of living here. As a family with young children, it would be perfect if there were a playground or amenity geared more towards little children, but in and around Aliso Viejo, there are no lack of those within a 15-minute walk. It's been a great experience so far being at Alize, and I commend the staff at Alize for helping to make our experience an overwhelmingly positive one!
