Resident 2006 - 2007

2/15/2007

They changed the name to Madison Park under the new ownership. We moved into this complex being told that the 2x4's were holding the balconies only till they finished "the rennovations"...they didnt bother to mention that they were REBUILDING them due to rot...totally different from what they told us. They said they were perfectly safe and we would always hava access...then we are told we wont be able to use them when they do decide to reconstruct them. We were promised 2 parking spaces...given one. We get into the new apartment to find hair in the droors, walls have holes...doors have holes, water damage in one of the bedrooms was never repaired properly and I had to FIGHT to get that done. Plumbing in the bathroom leaked, lenolium all had to be replaced, my feet were FILTHY from walking barefoot on the carpet, stains all over it. Most of these problems were remidied, but not what you want to move into...they should have been fixed BEFORE we moved. Every tennant I have spoken with had similar move in experiences. The cupboards are falling appart. I was told they would upgrade them (something that needed to be done YEARS ago...but that would cost an extra $50/month) Now I am stuck listening to teenagers partying late into the nights and neighborhood teens yelling/screaming/cussing at the basketball courts (as if the sound of a bouncing ball and the thump of the ball hitting the backboard isnt bad enough), all day and night.
