My husband and I lived here when Bernadette was manager. She was overbearing, loud and difficult to get along with. If you needed something done, you could forget about it. Her husband was her supervisor of the property management company. When the current manager came there was an immediate change in the office. It was finally pleasant to go in the office. I felt like we were finally being heard. The new manager is a get business done manager. She is also a very giving and kind person. She does care about her residents. I am only a resident and I am in no way related to the manager. Wow, the thing about dogs was very harsh. The dogs I hear the most are the ones from the housing track next door. The are a couple of houses over there, where there dogs bark sun up to sun down. Having dogs is good for senior citizen health and mental attitudes. I have a dog and I clean up after my dog. My dog is very important to our well being. We had to move to HB to help my father when he broke his hip. After living where there are children for one year we couldn't wait to get back to Hillcrest Village. I have to say there is no problem with management here. Some of the residents are a little cranky. The apartment is very large and the price of rent can't be matched in Orange County. I would definetly recomment living here.
