Avalon Cerritos is in a quiet and nice area, but at the cost of the actual quality of the living space. The apartments seemed to be cleaned up after each resident leaves with a new paint job, to the point that the cabinets and such are sticky from all the layers of paint. The maintenance team seems quite responsive and does their job, but like previously stated, band-aid jobs are always performed to get rid of the problem for the moment. Also, the laundry room is not kept well and the machines seem outdated. The admin also seems to do a lot of unofficial business because things are done verbally.
