Villa Vista Apartments
Resident · 2009 - 2010
my wife and I were there in 2009-2010 and while there, the apartments had problems with the water lines breaking. There were times without water for 3 days. Late in 2010 I got home from work Saturday morning at about !2.45 am and went to bed at !.30 am. My wife woke up about 10 that morning to find the entire apartment flooded. I immediately called the manager and told what My wife and I woke up to. What had happened is the main manifiold broke in the wall by the refrigerator. The carpeting was torn out and the dinning table set removed and the repair guys had 3 large noisy fans and a machine to soak up the moisture. I requested to be moved to another apartment and the manager refused. Then the manager said she didn't want any rent money but that my wife and I move out as per Dana Management. I moved most of the household items to the rented garage on the premises. Dana Management sent eviction through the San Bernardino Court and the Nasty maintenance men said I had 14 days to remove all items or it will be all thrown out. I got a local storage and had a hard time getting a hold of the Manager to start moving items out of the garage and to the storage. on the 15th day I again called the manager who was not returning phone calls. I went to the property and the nasty maintenance guy said the manager is not in and that my personal items have been removed. Dana management did a very wrong thing and when I sent documentation to the court, all I got is I was negligent. The wrongful Eviction and theft of all my household items by Dana Management is currently hurting my wife and I from getting a decent place to live.
