I have just recently moved out of these apartments after calling them home for a little over 3 years. With this kind of history, I would like to leave a HONEST and UNBIASED opinion of Arbor Ridge.
I will start out with the good. The apartments are huge, layouts are practical - I never ran out of space for any of my things (I had a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom). Maintenance crew was always timely. Area is quiet and close to EVERYTHING. It is near the freeway, food, shopping. You rarely have to leave the "circle." Tenants who lived in my part of the building (Building 11) were quiet. Some noises can be heard, but nothing more than footsteps or the occasional music on the weekend. Nothing unbearable. Also, GARAGE. This is amazing. The reason I lived here.
Now, the bad. I can NEVER get a hold of anyone at the front desk. They have been 'short staffed' for 2 years, now. This is very frustrating, especially towards the end of my stay here. Also - where I lived, since it was in the back, gardeners were always flaky about taking care of trees/bushes - grass is dead because of people letting their animals poo and pee there (which isn't a problem, but it's the managements responsibility to maintain grounds.) Also, said pest control: I haven't seen them in my part of the building in over 6 months. Parking can also be a situation.
Now - my opinions on a few things. This community is going downhill. Apartments are not maintained (paint is chipping outside). When I moved in, the carpet was already a year old. When I moved out 3 years later, they were telling me they were only going to clean it. This is 4 year old carpet, it looks like ---- and has no padding left. Lacquer is peeling off the cabinets, mold issues in the master bedrooms. The apartment went downhill FAST, and I am a diligent cleaner and not a slob.
Overall, yes... I would recommend living here.
