Resident 2005 - 2012

10/11/2012

Before I moved to Buena Park, I began searching for apartments and after seeing 4-5 properties, I came to Villa Buena and decided right then and there, that this is it. It was the parking lot that sold me. It is gated, safe and secure. When Aaron showed me the apartment I gave my deposit and signed the lease (Month-to Month) at that time, RIGHT AWAY. I have lived at Villa Buena for 7 1/2 years. Over the years Villa Buena has changed from good apartments to a great location. During this time we here have had our fair share of managers eight in the last seven and a half years I've lived here. Some were great (Thank you Kathryn & LeAnn), some not so good (specifically Karen & Jason). The new manager had been an assistant to the previous seven and knows the property well. She lives on site. The previous manager Brittany made good changes and Nafisa the new manager is continuing with the same changes. Only time will tell how good she really is. But in all honesty after Jason (Good Guy but Bad Manager), everything looks like an improvement. The maintanence is again just like the management. Some great guys, some lets just say you would be better off doing your own repairs. But I do notice when you have good managers, the maintanence staff is better. Juan actually lives on the property and he is moody but good. There are good primary schools, middle schools and lets not forget Oxford Academy the 7th best High School in the nation, that the kids can attend in this area. There are many small parks close by for the kids. The Buena Park Library is next door. The mall is a block away. Knotts Berry Farm, well you can just walk there and save money on parking. Actually you can walk to all these places, as they are all a small distance light or two away. It does get noisy in the evening during late September and October due to Knotts Scary Farm. It also becomes hard to come in and out of the property from 6PM to 8PM. But it's nothing that can't be handled. The property is divided up good. Many families with kids live on one side and singles and couples on one. The neighbors well, everybody minds their own business. The pool is used often and everyday during the summer, they had BBQ grills, but are in the process of getting new ones. The Gym is open all night and everyday, same with the laundry facility. Oh almost forgot the rent is the same as other apartments in the area, I do call or venture into other apartments as I have many friends living close by. But the PARKING LOT, trust me that is the key to this apartment. Well I would highly recommend Villa Buena Apartments, if your looking for a great place to live. Their is no better place in Southern CA. Unless you are a Multi-Millionaire.
