I'm another person who'd had a negative experience with this management company. I foolishly signed a 1 year lease at one of their properties, specifically 1719 & 1723 Grismer Ave Burbank Ca, now being called "Grismer Cove Apartments". The problems: -Major Roach infestations, also earwigs, house centipedes and spiders (even after calling the health dept, they refused to do anything different than occasional spraying, which clearly did not work) -Management enters without giving notice!!! Illegal!!! -Walls and floors very thin. You hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Sex, crying babies all night long, couples fighting, TVs on, every foot step or drawer opening upstairs above you, etc. -Teenagers having sex in the laundry room. -Assigned parking spot taken by other or blocked multiple times -Neighbors leave unwanted large items all over (mattresses, furniture, or just to lazy to put trash bags in dumpsters) -Trash all over, I've even had open condom wrapper steps outside my door -packages have been stolen off doorstep (no large item mail box for secure delivery) -Gates constantly propped open so anyone can enter -Teenagers and kids are unattended and regularly loiter and cause noise -Neighbors EXTREMELY rude and inconsiderate (peak in your windows, noisy, won't stop when asked, RETALIATE!, etc) -Public domestic disturbance that required calling police -Pool is disgusting with debris and full of rowdy, inconsiderate kids -Stove didn't work for first 2 weeks I lived there! -Management (office, not apt managers) seems polite and sympathetic, but has FAILED multiple times to even call people back and NEVER keep their promises! -Rent goes up when lease ends, then went up again 3 months later! The Mangers I've encountered try, but it's so much the managers don't even stay long. That says a lot!
