Re: Nice Place to Live???
Well, it seems like Rob the manager found this web site and decided to add his own commentary...no matter how ridiculous it may be. This place really sucks and got worse when Rob assumed duties from Caroline who did not have a "chip" on her shoulder. At least she was able to get things done when requested. She returned calls promptly and acknowledged you when she came accross you in the parking lot.

Last week, I received a funny letter from the property owner. Aparently, someone tried to contact them regarding Rob the manager. They had a few choice things to say about him, but they managed to mail it to the wrong person. So, this owner writes a letter about how Rob isn´t perfect and urged the residence to contact him first if they have problems. The problem is, he NEVER calls anyone back! Before we left that place, we had a couple of repair request that were almost two months old and didn´t hear a damn thing from Pecker-Wood. So, obviously the property owner is just as incompentent as Rob. Too bad they don´t realize that their tennants pay their salary, you´d think they´d try to at least make you think they cared!

My family and I have been out of there for almost three months now. Why they sent us a letter, I´ll never know...but it was interesting to find out that we were NOT alone in disliking the new manager. He´s a rude slug who moops around the complex and doesn´t do a damn thing to keep his residents.

The apartment itself sucked too. Only reason why we stayed was because Caroline was great. She was the reason why I stayed in a crappy floorplan and roughly 877 square feet hole. The downstairs apartments have hot water pipes running below and the apartment is often stuffy and hot. The cabinets are old and the only appliances you get is an old fridge and a dishwasher which hardly works. It takes forever for repairs to be done since the manager likes to ignore these calls. If you get something repaired, you must have done something to get the "Star" treatment.Share This Review
