Park Place Club Apartments
Resident · 2013 - 2014
I have lived in Park Place with my dog for a year and I absolutely love my apartment. I fell in love with the layout and also with the courtyard, as well as the backyard. The backyard is nice and big with lots of grass for the dogs. I love that they have a stand with doggy bags and a trash can for them. There is a tennis court which doesn't get used much. I personally think it should be converted into a dog run. There are two different places where there are gas powered grills. I enjoy using the ones in the pool area. It's great to swim, grill, and hang out in the comfy chairs under the shade. The grounds are always kept very clean and trim which is good for the small dogs like mine. One huge aspect that sold me on living here was the security. I am a single female and wanted to feel safe. Any kind of access into the building, even from the backyard back into the courtyard, needs a key. I admit I had some issues with getting ahold of someone in the office, even the day I was trying to move in just like the other review, but they hired a new manager around April or so. She has done wonders for the place in my opinion. The gym has been redone and new equipment has replaced the rundown pieces. She has had the laundry machines replaced until the new card operated ones are ready. She has done research and was able to get our water bill reduced nearly ten dollars. I've never had an issue with my apartment or the manager. I love it. I love the new stainless steel/black appliances, wood floors, and lots of cabinet space. I am very happy with the parking under the garage. Car stays clean and safe! There is plenty of guest parking in the front of the building, as well as street parking. During the winter, my neighbor and I sit out in the courtyard by the fire pit every night. That is definitely my favorite thing about this apartment complex. So there is a daycare/preschool behind the apartment complex. I hear the kids play when they are on recess and I take my dog out. My apartment doesn't face that side so I don't know if it is bothersome. I've never heard anyone I know complain though. I would recommend this apartment to everyone, especially now that we have a new apartment manager. The few people who complain about the manager, Toni, are the ones causing issues. She has been enforcing rules that were in the lease every tenant signed, and people don't like it. Little by little those people are leaving though and this place is becoming quiet and peaceful.
