From day one my apartment has been a mess. LITERALLY. DAY. ONE. The very first day my place was infested with baby flies/gnats (GROSS), both my sinks were leaking water out of the pipes, my toilet had a cover that didn't match, my toilet wouldn't flush, window screens were slashed, window was cracked (still is by the way), the cable in my room wasn't working and still isnt. I had to call time warner to just send somebody out just to make a super long cord that goes to my room (cost me $30), my sliding door to the porch was broken, and this was THE VERY FIRST DAY I MOVED HERE GUYS. My mistake was letting my boyfriend choose this place and letting him sign the lease before I moved down. Currently, the light fixture in my kitchen is leaking water. Yep. Leaking. And everybody knows that electricity and water work so well together..... I've tried calling the emergency number, left my phone number 4 times, and even tried knocking on the on property maintenance man's door, with no luck. I was suppose to be out of town by now, but by the looks of it.. I'm probably going to be up all night and won't be able to leave until somebody sees this in the morning.. I can't even blame the staff, just because this place is completely understaffed. Colette and Jose are the only full time workers here and they have to handle soooo many different apartments. The owners, management company, or whatever needs to hire MORE staff and needs to concentrate on making the current residents happy instead of trying to sucker in newer residents. BTW the parking spots are right below the apartments, so when someone comes riding through with their music loud at 1AM (which unfortunately is pretty often, it'll echo and probably wake you up). Don't let the aesthetics/looks fool you. JUST MY TWO CENTS. ALSO, they will charge you an arm and a leg for everything. $860 for a bedroom, sure no problem. $40 for mandatory cable charges. $40 for water and trash. The city of Colton owns the electricity company, so they charge whatever price they want. An EASY $150 for electricity and water waste. $20 for Renter's insurance. I think I'm missing gas? Well, you see the point.. PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE.
