We've lived in a two bedroom apartment for about a month and a half. The community is really nice- all of the construction mentioned in prior reviews is done and we're now reaping the benefits! Apartment: New carpet, white paint, and new counter tops and appliances make the apartment feel clean. The layout is livable. The apartment comes with a washer, dryer, refrigerator, electric stove/oven, and dishwasher. There is a decent amount of storage. Parking: You only get ONE assigned space per apartment. That sucks. I mean, how many two bedroom apartments only have one driver? We have to pay an extra $35 a month per extra car. However, I've never had a problem finding a space near my apartment even coming home late at night. Pets: The complex allows large dogs, so you do hear barking from time to time. It's not enough to be disturbing, but it does happen. There are plenty of open spaces to walk dogs and there are potty stations scattered around the property. People are good about cleaning up after their pets. There's a flat $50 pet rent, which is nice if you have multiple dogs. Community: There's a pool, tennis court, and exercise room that we really haven't really checked out. It's pretty quiet- sometimes you hear kids playing and dogs barking, but more often that not it's peaceful. Every once in a while I can hear the planes from John Wayne Airport. Overall, we're enjoying our time here. It's a easy place to live. The "$1705" base rent for the two bedroom is really around $1830 once you add in two more cars and pet rent, but it's working for us.
