If you don't mind homeless people doing drugs, peeing, and sometimes even pooing where you live, then this is the place for you!
I'm not kidding. I have witnessed the drugs, and heard stories about the other things from neighbors. Yuck!
Also, there have been a few break in's. Both apartments and cars have been broken into when I lived there. I never felt safe. The neighborhood is convenient because of the nearby amenities, but those don't make up for the inconveniences. If you live on the Anaheim street side you get a special view of Planned Parenthood, a church which constantly hosts homeless people and jam bands, and a dirty park. If you live on the Park St. side you've got the constant noise of the fire department. The management say it's not noisy, but that's just not true!
The maintenance guys are very nice, and always patch things up promptly, but it's an old building and things are constantly crumbling. There is a cleaning lady, but I have never seen her actually clean anything other than a bathroom in the pool area that for some reason is only for the management!? The manager ladies are awful. They are not nice at all, and have horrible communication skills and manners. They lie and take as much of your money as possible. Just say no to PCP.
