A hidden gem in an otherwise rocky housing market, that s what Brookstone turned out to be for my family and I. Let s just say wow, a year ago when my husband and I were looking for an apartment complex that was appropriate to raise our 1 year old, we were shocked to find that all the apartments we looked at in our price range and with our wants and needs were impossible to find. Most places were not updated, had few amenities, unclean, no curb appeal, no greenery, and tiny rooms w/ no storage, all absurdly over priced. I could not imagine raising my son in any of those places. Then I came across Brookstone Apartments. When we first pulled up the surroundings pleased me. An apartment complex not on a main road, with well-groomed greenery, a school next door with grass and a playground? My mommy beacon was turned on and I was already getting a positive vibe. We walked into the leasing office and were immediately greeted by the three lovely ladies than ran the office, Tonya, Barb & Ivonne. They were quick to assist us and eager to show us what was soon to be are next home. They took us on a tour and we were shocked to see how nice the entire complex was. The outside common area has grass, trees, a pool, a gym and a beautiful recreation room with pool tables. The apartments had a great layout, big rooms, many large closets, a balcony and large windows with great sunlight. We went to the office and signed our lease that very day. The ladies handled our paper work quickly and efficiently. Let me just say, no place is perfect and without flaws, but the people within the community you live also need to take responsibility within reason in the keeping of their surroundings clean and beautiful. Tonya, Barb and Ivonne have never hesitated to listen to and promptly handle any problem that my family has had within the complex. It s always great to walk by the office and see the lady s in there and be able to talk to them face to face with any problems or concerns. The ladies have always taken time out of there busy days with smiles on there faces to say hi to my family and I. Another aspect of Brookstone I really enjoy is that Tonya has set up a number of gatherings and activity s for Brookstone residents to meet and get to know one another. I know that a happy and healthy living environment is very important to her and she has proven that, not just with words, but also with her actions. It s not only hard to find a place to raise a family, but to also find a place with people you trust and feel safe to rise your family around. When we came to Bookstone we were looking for a place to live, but instead we found a home.
