An Incredibly Frustrating Place to Live
We have lived here for about a year. I wish we hadn't rented at this apartment because of the ongoing construction project. My strong suggestion is that you do not rent from Cupertino Park Center until the construction is 100% done. There is noise all day long, the place is boarded up with temporary barriers for months -- some of the boards have grafitti on them. They blocked off everyone's decks for MONTHS with no compensation for lost access. And with the construction project still in full swing, they had the gall to RAISE the rent. They have never cleaned the exterior windows. There is hardly ever any guest parking because the construction project has eaten up probably 70% of the available spots. The construction means you often have to walk the long way around to get to your apartment. They are about to do renovations on the front of th ebuilding which now means guests wont be able to enter from the front. If you try to go in or out during the day, you have to be careful about the construction: open areas on the stairs, saws, welding, concrete cutting, etc. There's a problem with ethnic cooking odors. They have a no smoking policy but now I'm more aware of smoking tenants than before the policy because now smokers have to go out on their decks to smoke. That's HELPFUL! This reminds me of government policies that are supposed to help people but end up causing more problems than existed before the policy! If you can live through all this, the location is excellent. There is plenty of shopping and Cupertino seems to be central to many Bay area destinations.Share This Review
