Davis is a low vacancy, high rent area. As such Green Meadows seems to do very well at keeping the complex full while providing virtually no services. The new office staff seems disinterested in problems and the maintainance man is inexperienced.
Our upstairs neighbor had a leaky water heater (in his balcony storage area), and though the maintainance man did fix the leak he did not mention the leak to us or inquire if water was coming downstairs. A few days later I just happened to look in my storage closet and found a lot of my possesions water damaged and all the sheetrock in the room incredibly moldy.
I notified the maintainance man immediately. His reply... "I already fixed it, but if it keeps leaking let me know." I talked to the office manager... "I think it was already taken care of." Neither ever expressed any concern for my belongings. Neither mentioned replacing the water damaged insulation, sheetrock, etc.

This is typical Green Meadows management style. Currently a contractor is readying the apartments to be painted and the name will be changing to "Silverstone" so renter beware.
