If Aster sincerely wants to improve the living experience, Aster will want to: deep clean and/or replace all stained carpets and flooring throughout all hallways, elevators and external walkways; deep clean and/or paint over stains throughout hallway and elevator room walls; discourage residents and/or guests from smoking (particularly marijuana) in and around Aster as Aster is supposed to be a non-smoking community; discontinue leasing apartments to residents with dogs as Aster should take into consideration that some human residents (like myself) are allergic to dogs, additionally, some of these dogs are way too aggressive for a family community with small kids, and, many dog owners allow their dogs to urinate and defecate daily on the landscaping along the walkways that surround the Aster property. Above all else, Aster needs to seriously fix and repair or replace our Boiler Room equipment for once and for all as it has become what seems like an every-other-month reoccurring problem and has inconvenienced residents on dozens of occasions each time repairs are made forcing us to go days plural! without hot water, and, on at least a couple times in recent memory, left us without hot or cold water for a day or more!! All this is totally unacceptable especially for what is advertised as a luxury apartment community: Aster.

    The carpets, flooring and windows throughout the entire ASTER community are absolutely filthy and should be deep cleaned immediately. In fact, the exterior windows of our complex have not been cleaned in the past 4 years since ASTER was built. Also, when walking through the hallways, it has become a daily occurrence to now have to smell marijuana smoke seeping out of some of the nearby apartments as I walk to my own. ASTER is supposed to be a smoke free environment, but, anyone with a nose knows from the smell that smokers and/or tokers are increasing in their presence in our community.

      Though ASTER has been open for just a bit over three years now, by all appearances visually it looks much older and worn than its young age as an apartment community should allow. Notice, for example, the mysterious stains on the flooring throughout any given stretch of the ASTER community property, whether viewing internally the hallway carpets on each floor, the stairwells, the lobby, the trash rooms, or, elevator rooms and floors; and, externally, the sidewalks throughout the perimeter of the property, the dog run, the parking garage, pet waste in the landscaping, etc.

        Our new Maintenance Manager Omid is singlehandedly doing an excellent job of maintaining our ASTER community all by himself! What I fear, however, is that without additional help he will continue to be overwhelmed with work orders steadily piling up and response time will suffer as a result. Additionally, ASTER Management by all appearances does not do a daily, weekly or even monthly walk-thru of our ASTER property. I waited a month or more since I first noticed that several lights had gone out in our buildings emergency stairwell to see if anyone at ASTER would notice this. No one did, so, as a concerned resident I put forward this maintenance request myself on behalf of the community. I certainly hope that ASTER does a better job going forward in staffing additional team members who will more actively pay attention to our communitys many concerns. Thank you!

          Ive been waiting more than a year since AMAKARA restaurant opened for ASTER to do something about the awful foul smell that extends from the restaurant vents through our hallway vents. I have voiced complaint to ASTER management countless times. As yet, nothing has been done to correct and resolve this ongoing problem.

            I brought to the attention of ASTER management on numerous occasions over the past year since Amakara restaurant was built that there has been a foul odored smell traveling between the restaurants exhaust and our apartment communitys hallway vents throughout each of four floors above the restaurants location. Now, a year later, this smelly problem still remains unresolved and uncorrected without any apparent actionable response or follow through communication from ASTER management to residents.

              I have notified ASTER management numerous times that a very distinctive and unpleasant smell from Amakara restaurant is coming out of the hallway vents located at the end of the hallways on floors 2 through 5 that are above the restaurant. ASTER management still has yet to resolve this issue with Amakara.
