The Courtyard at Bay Road was a new development built in 2006. The complex was well managed and well maintain for the first two years. Although, continuesly criminal activity has been a problem for the last three years. The maintenance of the building has not been kept in a sanitary manner.This is a family complex, children do not need to exposed to this type of conditions. The hallways walls are dirty and ship, carpets ordor smell, expired elevator permit, wire's hanging, expired extinguisher's. IN and OUT unathorized guest, filty hallways with trash, and the carpet is ruin and unhabbitabile. Management is always out of the office, and does not respond to resident complaints nor resident maintenance issues.
This building its an affordable housing Tax Credit and the Management's role has not play a good role model in the Affordable Housing industry, if looks like the responsibilities as a Management company or owner's including the Manager are careless. The maintaining of this building is unacceptable and no discipline.
I believe that the Affordable Housing Industry needs to know the issues that this building has, this is not what affordable housing supposed to be, specially since the city faught the company for occupancy approval in EPA>
