Resident · 2018
I've lived at La Paz for a few years now. It was a quiet, clean community just a few years ago. It's now become a pretty bad apartment complex. Loud children/teens yelling in the pool late at night (these are courtyard apartments, so nearly all apartments are directly adjacent to this screaming). The old manager Sherri used to keep everything under control, but now it's like the wild west. No parking to be found after 4:30-5:00 pm. There are so many cars parked here without permits and management does not have them towed, so some families have 4+ cars parked at all times. (just walk through and see how many don't have permits displayed) There are a lot more questionable characters living here now as well. They kicked some of the meth users out after they were caught stealing from other residents back patios but there are dodgy people still walking around with their pitbulls barking at residents walking through the courtyard. If management would not allow people to have parties and yelling at the pool/blasting music, and tow the many cars parked here without permits, it would be ok for the price, but as it stands, it's really gone downhill in the last year. I would not recommend until they get the apartments back under their control.
