Serena Vista is a great place to live despite the parking on the street that is not adequate. The place do offer getting extra parking stalls/ports/garages so if you don't feel like parking your car on the street at night then pay the extra fee cause it is worth the worries you have. Each unit do come with a parking space which is a plus for singles but if you have more than 1 car there is select few parking available after 5PM. The place do allow you to park on the prospective resident parking spaces after 6PM although I have come home before 6PM and there are residents already parked there. I have seen car break in's but it is away from the apartment area in other apartment parking by the street (around the senior community apartments). I love the space of the bedroom (huge)! Plus for the walk-in closet. I didn't like so much the counter space as it was limited. When I first did the tour of the place I thought it would be enough but when I finally moved in it wasn't but that's okay as I compenstated that for the peace and quietness the place offered. My apartment is right in front of the pool and so far only a few nights a few months ago were there loud noises but I am not the picky neighbor to complain as everyone do have their family/friend gatherings from time to time. The place overall offeres a great feel of a getaway. The best spot I feel is right by the pool as it has the best scenary (landscaping/pool/bbq area, etc.). The staff are always out there working everyday. If the lady staff is not there cleaning the bbq grills the landscape staff is busy trimming bushes or mowing the lawn. Plus the pool area is always clean and I always see the staff draining/cleaning the water so you know when your kids are in there it's clean water they are getting into. Love management epecially Mandy! She's a great person and overall what brought me to deciding to stay at Serena Vista. Neighborhoodwise there is a lot of apartments around this area but I go out some nights and come late (like 2 or 3 in the morning) and find it safe to be walking around to my unit from the street or from my garage. I do see police cars patroling the area from time to time but they are also literally 2 or 3 blocks down. Plus shopping is easy! You have gas stations one block over, Asian stores 10 mins away, American grocery stores 5 mins away, restuarants, banks, and so on. You name it there's one nearby. You have to try this place out to see what I am talking about. Oh and there are kids in the apartment complex area that I am in but they just don't come out much to play or make noises. Even on a hot night I only see maybe 2 or 4 people out in the pool area and during the day only a few by the pool. You could basically have your own time by the pool if you want. Plus the pool is currently getting redone so it may draw more folks out there afterwards but I don't see that as a problem. Love Serena!
