Park Sequoia Apartments

I´ve lived here for 3 years, Park Sequoia is a reasonable place to live. Grounds are well kept. There´s some noise from an rare train going by. Apt. buildings are too close together which contributes to excessive noise when there´s children playing and screaming, which isn´t constant but happens often enough to be a nuisance. Apts are not insulated well enough against noise also, so neighbors who play tv/stereo at high volumes can be a problem. There´s a nice hiking/biking trail across the street (alameda creek) that goes all the way to the bay and the hills. Maintenance people seem to be responsive and fix problems quickly. 1 Parking spot is guaranteed, but with a 2nd car finding a convenient parking spot is hit or miss. Pests are rarely a problem, except during the rains in winter lots of ants will look for shelter indoors, usually only a problem for a week or so. Neighborhood in general is suburban, car-oriented, and residential. Conclusion: A decent place to live, reasonable rent for this area.
