Even though the economy is bad, this complex is not adjusting to the appropriate rate that they should adjust rent to. Unemployment is at 12% and rising here in Fremont, but this complex just keeps trying to "bide its time off the backs of the remaining few." The cable box is messed up in this complex, and the management knew it, but did not call it in. I did the call tonight and I had to make sure that the cable company did not charge me for a service call as this is the main unit that Pebble Creek is responsible for. Oh, and by the way, this complex has not been retrofitted to current earthquake standards even though they are only 2 blocks from the Hayward Fault. The rent kept going up and up and up the whole time I was here, and nothing in return but crime, and bad neighbors from section 8.
I was also told the other day that since the new landlord has gone to classes for neighborhood watch, that the police will now respond more readily to any occurrences here. What a plus. I thought that since I pay taxes that police are supposed to respond to an emergency here, but I guess that is why this complex has had so many robberies. Hmmmm.....I give this place 2 thumbs down and I am moving out. Siyanara, adios, and good bye. WHAT A WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY!!!
