Ok, so after moving here in summer of 2006, the manager was great - very nice, things got done quickly and there were little if any inconveniences because of construction. Now, after a new management company has bought the complex, we have had to deal with construction non-stop. They painted the building these god-awful colors and then repainted and then repainted again (probably figured out how ugly they were). There is constant noise from so called "roof repairs" and they're up there banging at 7AM, they constantly shut down the parking lot to fix curbs that weren't broken and re-cover the parking lot and although it now looks pretty, there was nothing wrong with it in the first place! For any repairs you need done, you now have to call a 1-888 number instead of just talking to the office people, and if you have a friend or family member coming to visit you, you have to be sure to get a guest parking pass at least 24 hours in advance or they'll tow their car.... how sweet is that? Biggest problem - they turn off the water at least once a week or so, for an entire day, to "fix" things, and then when it comes back on, it's either scalding hot, or freezing cold and that's all you get until the next day. If you are thinking of moving here, it's great if you want to be close to CSUF, but the management company sucks and you will have to deal with a lot of construction and even more inconveniences, so look around some more...
