I put 2scores on noice because the gardeners come like 2 times a week and use the blower and it is extremely noisy. Dirty our cars too. Very annoying especially when you work nights. Other that that I love it. Oh one more. Rent increases. That do not change. Ugh. Also I don't think this is luxury apartments. There old now. No luxury in the bad area either. We are not in Irvine. We are in the Hood.

Upon move-in we were welcomed warmly by staff, disregarding the fact that it had taken up multiple attempts to schedule a time to get our keys. Over the course of the year that I lived here, the staff responded to none of my emails and we had only one or two maintenance requests fulfilled. Move out was when the real problems began. We gave appropriate notice of our move-out date and we were never contacted by management regarding any move-out procedures. Again, it took us multiple attempts (phone calls & emails) to figure out where to even leave our keys. We requested a walkthrough and they declined. After we followed their instructions to "leave the keys on the counter," we received out move-out statement with absurd charges that we have pictures proving are false. I am entirely convinced that we were denied a walkthrough so that they could keep our security deposit. It has been 8 months since our move out and we have yet to receive a check. It took me almost 3 months to hear back from management regarding out move-out statement, and my dispute (citing sections from our lease that they clearly violated) was met with no… See More>

I love this place. I have been here for years. Only thing I don't like is the rent increase but that is most management places. I do wish they change that. Every year it is increased. Cost of living is very difficult for me right now. But I am staying until I cannot any longer afford. Anyway I am happy here.

My wife and I went in this past Saturday to find out about renting here. As soon as we walked in and said that we were interested in renting, we were cut off and told very abruptly by a very rude woman that "We dont have anything." We were dismissed as if we were an annoyance. The grounds were ok and the noise level on a Saturday afternoon was great. But I wouldn't think twice about heading to this location ever again. I would tell me friends to stay away from this place.

Dont move here its the worst place in Fullerton

Ok before anyone reads my review read the other ones first and take notice about who posted them I know for a fact that tara goodness has her husband write 5 star reviews on the as many website as he can so I currently live here and I wish I didnt. I've lived here for almost 2 years and not all has been a problem just most of my stay. From day one parking has been a major problem. residence that live at highland creek are only allowed 2 vehicles per household, but no 1 abide by that rule. when I inform management about this problem im told it will be taken care of and nothing happens. My kitchen cabinets are rotting apart from being so water logged. my shower tub is cracked.the shower valves, toilet ,bathroom sink, all old fixtures.even the power outlets need to be changed. Nothing in this apartment justifies paying 1000 dollars for rent. I guess the only thing that is up to par is the landscape thats it wrx92801@yahoo.com for more info

Highland Creek Apts - Safe and Clean

I have lived in the Highland Creek Apartments for a few years now, and I am most impressed by the speed with which they have resolved any and all apartment problems that I have had. If our faucet has an issue, it is normally seen the same day that I report it. The office manager knows her stuff and whenever I go in with a question or a concern, it is addressed quickly and efficiently. She really goes the extra mile too - I had a sink repair completed by an outside company, and they used my wedding dishes to catch the leaking faucet. Ms. Goodness called the company and took care of the mess and my dishes. My favorite part of the complex is the small creek that runs through the facility, wrapping around patios and the balconies, and keeping the sounds of cars and outside noise to a minimum. This is not to say that it is completely quiet: Every night we can hear the fireworks display from Disneyland, and Highland is a busy street, so loud motorcycles and other engines can sometimes be heard.

              We Love it here!

There are two of us contributing our opinions to this review of Highland Creek apartments. My wife has been here for 27 years. We met and married in 1989, so that makes 19 years at Highland Creek for me. From 1981 into 1991 my wife saw several sets of managers come and go. The current on-site managers have been here for 17 years. She has also seen the ownership of the property change several times. We both have many reasons for staying here so long. The main reason has been our current on-site managers, who have been here since 1991. During the past 17 years we have had nothing but positive experiences because of them. The grounds are meticulously maintained. We could count on any needed maintenance being done within 24 hours. Pest control is available if necessary. However, we have never had a vermin problem in our apartment. The on-site managers have encouraged a feeling of community by sponsoring Christmas decorating contests and by having annual all-you-can-eat luncheon/pool parties to which all residents were invited and food, decorations and prizes were all free! Our on-site managers are… See More>

                Situation is Turning Sour

This place was great when I moved in around 2002. In the beginning, management was friendly, repairs were done on time, and neighbors were quiet, respectful. These were the good old days. I moved out in 2006 because management increased the rent steadily for no reason whatsoever -- the service did not change, the place still lacks amenities such as gym, clubhouse etc. The trees did not get cut, even though we pointed out that they were parasite infested (white tree leaves). Management and service went from good to bad -- repairs were not done on time, on site management developed an attitude, no pest control, apartments did not get painted, and carpets did not get cleaned. Even long term residents moved out all the sudden due to management's rediculous increases (7-10% per term). New tenants have moved in -- the once quiet place is getting loud and louder: Music at 3am despite informing on-site staff. Furthermore, I noticed more and more roaches. Friendliness was declining steadily. I finally decided to move.

                  A great place to live!

It is one of the nicest properties that I have ever experienced. The management is on site 24/7 and are the greatest people I have ever been around.
The grounds are lush and well maintained. Repairs are handled quickly and efficiently.
They are also a great cat friendly place!
