This was the first apartment I ever lived in back in 1998 so I didn't have anything to compare it to, but what I did know was that it was way too hot inside. The complex is set up like a hotel, where you enter your apartment from an indoor hallway. Therefore, there is no cross breeze at all possible. There was only a wall unit AC that had a slanted turntable for a vent so basically you could cool down the ceiling, floor, or a wall since it didn't blow straight out. Besides the air never reached the bedrooms, so we had to carry a fan around with us wherever we went. Also, I dont know how it is now, but the management wasn't very nice at all and extremely strict. I had a friend who lived here more recently and he always complained about how much it cost for what he got. It's good for two roommates, though, because they have dual master suites with the bathroom inside each room.
